Thinking Home Preview
Thinking Home is available for ordering today.
To get an idea of how specific screens within Thinking Home look, browse
the screenshots below. Or, browse the Menu Preview
to get an idea of how the interface works.
The Thinking Home Document Window
The document window displays devices, macros and events to be used
with an X-10 computer interface. Throughout the application, when an
interface does not support a feature, then that feature is disabled.
For example, FireCracker does not support Macros or Events or even monitoring,
so these options will not be available in that case.
Remote Control Window
The Remote Control Window is used for direct
control of X-10 devices. You can send a command immediately. The types
of command buttons presented vary, depending on what is appropriate
for the selected device.
Toolbar and Menus
You can click on many of the menu items shown and
they will lead to related screenshots. For example, clicking
on the Edit menu's Document Settings item will display that window.
Preferences Window
The preferences
window allows you to customize Thinking Home according to your unique
home automation requirements. The window is categorize into four tabs,
each controlling a different set of system settings.
Other Preview Shots
You can download
Thinking Home v1.1.7 (8.4M) here. Complete documentation is included. The software
will run as a demo until you enter your registration number. While operating
as a demo, the application will not save documents, nor will it store
events and macros into an interface. Other than that, the demo mode is
fully featured. You will receive your registration number when you place
your order.
